Narendra Modi is one Prime Minister who is not just famous for his political moves but also his sartorial choices. Today, online sites sell kurtas and suits in Modi’s name. The PM has started a fashion trend since the time he has come to power.

PM Modi’s famous dress style.
On his historic trip to Israel, the Prime Minister made a statement on his first day in a beautifully tailored white bandhgala suit accessorized with a blue pocket square. However, it was not just another expensive outfit. The colors of the suit were deliberately chosen to convey one message ‘India stands with Israel’.
Why? Because the Israeli flag is white and blue.

Also, the PM was aware that he will be visiting the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum. So, the color white was appropriate for the solemn occasion.
As a sign of respect, visitors cover their heads while visiting the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum. Keeping that in mind, Modi wore a Himachali hat with his white suit.

It was a very significant trip and the PM wanted it all to be perfect and influential. While writing in the visitors’ book at the memorial, Modi wrote a beautiful message,
I am deeply moved by my visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum. It is as much a poignant reminder of the unspeakable evil inflicted generations ago as it is a symbol of the endurance and fortitude of the Jewish people.

Calling Yad Vashem a mirror to the world in these hard times, Modi added,
As we deal with conflict, intolerance, hatred, and terror in our time, Yad Vashem serves as a mirror to societies around the world. May we not forget the injustices of the past and its devastating toll on humanity. And remembering the past, may we empower our children to make compassionate, just and righteous choices for their future.
