Well, the unique specialty is that these temples fall along the same longitudinal line though their location is hundreds of miles apart. Although some people have held these mysterious geographical locations as mere coincidence, but isn’t it too far-fetched to think one particular coincidence arising in case of all these eight temples?

So, considering the technically perfect location of these Shiva temples, one may come to the conclusion that the ancient sages of India definitely had some technique for gauging the unique geographical location of a particular place, which enabled them to construct these eight temples from deep in the Himalayas all the way down south into Tamil Nadu. Otherwise, it is humanly impossible to calculate such a humongous distance in a linear line and construct the next temple accordingly!
